Changes to 2014 structure

In 2014 the Conflict Management and Resolution program at JCU will change the structure of the Graduate Certificate and Masters programs.

The Graduate Certificate of Conflict Management and Resolution will be available with new compulsory units. It will be a 4 unit Graduate Certificate consisting of the subjects

• Conflict Analysis

• Conflict Resolution Processes

• Ethics and Reflective Practice in Conflict Management and Resolution

• Research and Writing in Conflict Management and Resolution

The Graduate Certificate of Family Dispute Resolution will be available as a 4 unit Graduate Certificate with the following compulsory units

• Conflict Analysis

• Mediation

• Family Dispute Resolution

• Advanced Family Dispute Resolution

The Master of Conflict Management and Resolution will move to a new 16 unit structure with the following compulsory units and selection of a range of electives.

• Conflict Analysis

• Conflict Resolution Processes

• Ethics and Reflective Practice in Conflict Management and Resolution

• Research and Writing in Conflict Management and Resolution

• Plus 4-12 additional elective subjects (students can get up to 8 subjects advanced standing based on prior study and work experience).
